Tree of Life tour starts again

We were delighted to conduct our first community tour since the pandemic on 5 March 2023 in Quezon. The ‘Tree of Life’ tour features the coconut and gives guests an insight into the way coconuts are grown, harvested, processed and used in the local community.

The tour was run for friends from Japan, through the Children Future Network, led by Ritsuko Kudo.

Youth leaders from Bahay Tuluyan ran the event, including explaining the different processes and providing hands-on demonstrations for guests.

A highlight of the event was the coconut-inspired lunch which was served under the mango tree.
