Bahay Tuluyan is committed to providing an enabling environment for children that is nurturing, safe and child-friendly. It aims to create an open and aware safe environment where concerns for the safety or wellbeing of a child or young person can be raised in a managed and just manner.

Bahay Tuluyan is governed by a Child Protection Policy that provides a framework for managing, reducing and responding to risks of child abuse, harm, injury, violence or neglect by persons engaged in delivering programs and services to children.
Under this policy, Bahay Tuluyan is seeking to improve child protection through:
a) Awareness - ensuring that all those connected to Bahay Tuluyan are aware of the risks to children and young people, the behaviors expected of them and how they can raise concerns.
b) Prevention - through training, awareness raising, clear policies and an open, child-friendly environment, reduce the risks to children.
c) Reporting - establish clear procedures for raising concerns about child abuse
d) Responding - ensure that a robust system is in place to address violations of this policy

All children and youth involved in Bahay Tuluyan’s programs or services in any capacity and for any period of time are covered by the Child Protection Policy.
All personnel (both employees and volunteers) and relevant third parties need to comply.
All activities of the organization, wherever they take place, are covered by the policy.

We take any allegations or suspicions of violations of the Child Protection Polilcy very seriously.
